I Support
There are a large number of worthwhile causes that people can get involved in. Truth is, there is way too much work that this world of ours needs. Below are the causes that I personally support.

St. Jude is unlike any other pediatric treatment and research facility anywhere. They are at the forefront of research into cancer and other catastrophic diseases. Doctors across the world send them their toughest cases and most vulnerable patients. And the most impressive thing is that those who cannot pay are never asked to pay.We personally know of people in India who are getting assistance and advice in their treatment from St. Jude’s.

The ONE Campaign is really cool. It is an effort by Americans to rally Americans – one by one – to fight the emergency of global AIDS and extreme poverty. The ONE Campaign derives its name from the belief that allocating an additional one percent of the U.S. budget toward providing basic needs like health, education, clean water and food would transform the futures and hopes of an entire generation in the world’s poorest countries. It also calls for debt cancellation, trade reform and anti-corruption measures in a comprehensive package to help Africa and the poorest nations beat AIDS and extreme poverty. Join the ONE Campaign. They want your voice.

The Christopher Reeve Foundation is the new name of the American Paralysis Association. It is dedicated to curing spinal cord injury by funding innovative research, and improving the quality of life for people living with paralysis through grants, information and advocacy. Watching Superman go through the devastating injury that he suffered was high impact enough. But the attitude with which he and Dana Reeve approached his injury and his fight for a cure was really inspiring.
